Sushi

What You Need

- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 nori sheets
- 1 cucumber, sliced into strips
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Cooked crab sticks or fresh salmon
- Soy sauce for serving
How to Cook It
- Season the cooked rice with rice vinegar and let it cool slightly.
- Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat and spread a thin layer of rice over it.
- Add cucumber, avocado, and seafood in the center.
- Roll tightly and seal the edge with a little water.
- Slice and serve with soy sauce.

Ramen
Ramen is a warming noodle bowl with broth, soy seasoning, sliced meat, egg, and toppings.
What You Need
- 200 g ramen noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp miso paste if available
- Sliced chicken or pork
- Boiled egg
- Scallions and mushrooms
How to Cook It
- Heat the broth and season it with soy sauce and miso.
- Cook the ramen noodles separately according to the package.
- Warm the sliced meat and prepare the egg and vegetables.
- Place the noodles in bowls and pour the hot broth over them.
- Top with meat, egg, scallions, and mushrooms before serving.

Tempura
Tempura is a light fried dish where vegetables or shrimp are coated in a thin cold batter and fried until crisp.
What You Need
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup ice-cold water
- 1 egg
- Shrimp or sliced vegetables
- Oil for frying
- Salt
How to Cook It
- Heat the oil in a deep pan while you prepare the batter.
- Whisk the egg with ice-cold water, then stir in the flour lightly.
- Dip the shrimp or vegetables into the batter.
- Fry in small batches until pale golden and crisp.
- Drain on paper and serve right away.
