  • 300 g ground beef or lamb

  • 1 1/2 cups bechamel sauce

How to Cook It

  1. Salt the eggplant slices, pat them dry, then roast or pan-fry until lightly browned.
  2. Cook onion, garlic, and the ground meat until browned.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer until the filling thickens.
  4. Layer eggplant and meat sauce in a baking dish, then pour bechamel on top.
  5. Bake until the top is golden and let it rest before slicing.

Souvlaki is marinated skewered meat grilled until lightly charred and served with bread or salad.

  1. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the meat in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread the meat onto skewers.
  4. Grill or pan-sear until cooked through and lightly charred.
  5. Serve hot with pita, yogurt sauce, or salad.

Greek Salad is a fresh mix of tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, and feta dressed with olive oil.

Ingredients

What You Need

  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano

How to Make It

  1. Place tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and olives in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle oregano over the vegetables.
